I am a current student pursuing a JD at Yale Law School. At Yale, I serve on the board of the Black Law Students Association as well as the Yale Law and Business Society. Prior to attending Yale, I completed a B.A. in Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies at Emory University and taught at a university for a year in Morocco on a Fulbright grant.
I have always loved teaching. Throughout my time in college, I tutored ESL and GED classes in the refugee community outside of Atlanta. While in Morocco, I taught university-level English writing courses. Over the years, I have assisted numerous friends, colleagues, and mentees with essays, college applications, and applications to top graduate and professional programs.
In my free time, I love spending time (outside, in parks, on picnics, etc.) with friends and family. I also love reading and practicing my foreign language skills. My favorite comfort food is either southern Soul Food or Pho.
