I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA and masters in Public Health. Through my time in school I served in various activities including dormitory health worker, head undergraduate major adviser, and graduate student instructor. These experiences allowed me to develop my skills and passions in working with all kinds of students and helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.
In my MPH program where I studied epidemiology and biostatistics, I interned at Kaiser Permanente where I first became exposed to the important roles of technology in the healthcare business. Upon graduating, I rejoined the team as a senior business analyst and developed my work experience, gaining an interest in project management in the process. In my most recent role, I managed the website migration for my division at the California Department of Public Health.
I am a licensed Project Management Professional and wish to continue applying the skills I developed in population health and IT toward a career in technical project planning. In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking, and learning contemporary dance.
