My name is Spencer Lee Lenfield. I went to college at Harvard University, where I studied history and literature and graduated summa cum laude, and then attended Oxford University on a Rhodes Scholarship, where I received a first-class degree in classics and philosophy. Other awards and scholarships I’ve received include a Fulbright grant teaching English in Korea, a Beinecke Scholarship, and a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship. I’m currently studying for a Ph.D. in comparative literature at Yale University.
I’m an avid writer, and I enjoy helping students articulate their ideas and realize their full potential! I’ve worked with students in high school and college on all kinds of applications. Through the years, I’ve also taught a range of students languages, literature, and writing skills from elementary school to college. In my free time, I like learning new languages (I speak competent French and a modest amount of Korean, as well as Latin—which I’ve tutored—and ancient Greek), drawing, and cooking.
