I have close to 25 years of professional experience working in both selective college admissions and college counseling. My experience includes working as an Admissions Officer at Princeton University and as Senior Associate Dean of Admissions and Coordinator of Student of Color Recruitment at Swarthmore College.
What draws me to this profession are the students. I enjoy interacting with, advising, and working with students as they discover their passions, plan their future, and find the colleges that are the right “fit” for them. I am an advocate for my students and I believe that with hard work on the part of the student, and with advocacy, support, and professional advice from me, my students will be successful in the college process.
In my free time, I enjoy watching my daughter play basketball, softball, and water polo. I also love singing…anywhere, but specifically with my gospel choir that I have travelled and performed with all over the east coast of the United States as well as in Budapest, Hungary, Vienna, Austria, and Prague, Czech Republic.
