I am a doctoral student at Stanford University where I study 20th century US history. Before moving to the Bay Area I spent a year in Hong Kong on a Fulbright research grant. At my alma mater at the University of Southern California, where I was a Mellon Undergraduate Fellow, I completed two honors theses in my major fields of history and comparative literature.
As a teacher of history and writing, I’ve always been passionate about helping my students, including English language learners, find the words and methods to express themselves best! My experience ranges from coaching high school and college students one-on-one to teaching the history of American social movements to college students.
In my free time, you’ll usually find me knitting (while keeping the yarn away from my cats), hiking among the beautiful California redwoods, or thinking about my next meal.
