- InGenius Prep paired Student J a Former Admissions Officer from Harvard and a Graduate Coach from Harvard Law School.
- Student J’s Former Admissions Officers worked hard to devise ways to make his application stand out from other mathematics students. As Student J’s activities were not particularly unique, his counselors had to think creatively about how to craft an application theme that would be remembered. His passion for problem solving and desire to use it to challenge his peers would become his application persona.
- Student J’s Former Admissions Officer strategized which extracurriculars should be emphasized to showcase them in a way that was dynamic. They worked with him to present his formation of the Problem Writing Club as entrepreneurial and bold, and found similar outlets for this type of creative expression at his target schools.
- Student J applied to 15 colleges, all of which required at least one supplemental essay. Since Student J had to write 18-20 essays, his counselors helped him prioritize and plan out his work so that he could work efficiently and effectively.
