Duke University accepts two types of applications from prospective students: Common Application or Coalition Application.
Along with college essays, personal statements, and letters of recommendation, Duke’s applicants must also fall within the school’s threshold for standardized test scores. Those applying must have or exceed these scores for their standardized testing.

Duke University offers two main application deadlines for prospective students. The Early Decision deadline, which is binding, is November 1. The Regular Decision deadline is January 3.
