AZ Futures is an enriching learning experience for high school students to explore entrepreneurship and small business, gain relevant work skills, and learn about career and academic pathways. Led and developed by a Former Admissions Officer, students in AZ Futures will work in teams with like-minded students to build start-ups and prepare for entrepreneurship competitions.
AZ Futures cohorts are 6-week programs in which students take classes to learn key entrepreneurial skills and concepts, participate in cohort meetings to build start-ups, and listen to industry leaders discuss their career paths and give advice. Students learn from leaders at companies like Google, Proctor & Gamble, and more.
During the program, students team up to leverage what they learn to create a start-up and pitch deck to present to the AZ Futures Board of Directors. After the program, students are prepared to compete in and succeed at the The Blue Ocean High School Entrepreneurship Competition and other high school entrepreneurship competitions.
