- We paired Student A with a Former Admissions Officer from Stanford and a Graduate Coach from Stanford Law School.
- In the beginning stages, Student A and her counselors brainstormed numerous topics for her personal statement. Student A created several outlines to flesh out her ideas and get her creativity flowing.
- Upon brainstorming and receiving these outlines, Student A’s counselors explained to Student A that these topics were too emotional. Instead of making admissions officers want to accept her, these topics would make the admissions officers feel bad for her. After many conversations, Student A and her counselors decided to write about a formative experience that occurred through her main extracurricular activity.
- Student A’s counselors created a working document that looked exactly like the UC application to edit her honors & activities list. They ensured that every section was strategized and perfect.
- Student A’s Former Admissions Officer performed a Final Review of her entire application, checking for grammar, spelling, content, tone, structure, and school fit. Once the application could not be further improved, she pressed submit!
