Hello! I am a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep. I was born in the United States and raised between Port-au- Prince, Haiti and New York. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York and my Master of Fine Arts from Hunter College-City University of New York.
I have over fifteen years of experience in higher education, with positions including Associate Director of Admissions (Parsons School of Design-The New School, New York), Assistant Chairperson (Pratt Institute, New York) and Undergraduate Dean (JACCD, Accra). I created and implemented art and design curricula that emphasized creative thinking across all disciplines. My role as an educator was to assist her students in developing their skills and building their confidence, in order to realize their ideas.
I am also a visual artist who has exhibited extensively through group and solo exhibitions in the USA, Caribbean, UK, Europe and Africa. I am the recipient of a Wachtmeister Award, a Tulsa Artist Fellowship, an Arts Moves Africa Grant and a Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant. My work can be seen at National Museum For African American History and Culture, Africa First Collection, University of South Africa (UNISA), Lowe Museum of Art, Hessler Museum of Art, PFF Collection of African American Art and in various private collections worldwide.
