Help your student develop their writing skills by enrolling them in InGenius Prep’s Writing Seminars.
This is a focused course in analytical academic writing modeled on the freshman writing seminars at Yale University. The purpose of this course is to provide students with the writing skills they will need to succeed in high school and college: reading and analyzing a text, developing a thesis, making an argument, providing evidence, and, for more advanced students, using secondary sources. Whether you lack confidence in your academic writing skills or you just want to prepare for college writing, this program will instill the skills you need to be a successful academic writer.
Seminar Goals
In this course, you’ll learn the art of reflective writing, including how to analyze memories, write descriptively, and present compelling interpretations. Our expert instructors will guide you through the process of effectively communicating the impact and meaning of personal experiences and events, allowing you to connect with and engage your readers on a deeper level. Whether you’re an aspiring writer or looking to enhance your ability to write an engaging personal statement, this program will empower you to write with clarity, creativity, and confidence.
