Kenny Nguyen is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep who holds dual UC Berkeley degrees in Business Administration and Environmental Economics & Policy. Kenny leverages his UC Berkeley degrees to guide students toward their academic aspirations. He has successfully advised numerous high school and college students into top-tier university programs nationwide.
He is passionate about simplifying the often-daunting application process and his own experience “figuring it out himself” fuels his commitment to helping students avoid unnecessary struggles. He is dedicated to empowering each student to articulate their unique story and connect it with the programs where they’ll truly thrive.
Kenny’s professional experience spans various operational and growth-focused roles, including Head of Business Operations and Chief of Staff at Kromatic, an innovation training/edtech company. He also served as Managing Director and Vice President of Offshore Operations at Secude, a global cybersecurity company. Earlier in his career, he was a Researcher, Coach & Instructor at the Berkeley Haas Entrepreneurship Program, Berkeley Business Academy for Youth, where he guided high school and middle school students through social entrepreneurship projects and college applications.
