Dr. Jimmy Mahgoub is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in Florida. He holds a PhD in
Business Administration from Georgia State University and MS degrees in Engineering Management
from Stanford University, and Renewable Energy Technologies from the University of Khartoum in North
Africa. As a professional in higher education, Jimmy uses his extensive background in college
admissions to guide students through the college application process.
With over 10 years of experience in higher education and more than 15 years in engineering and
business development, Jimmy has honed his coaching, training, and research skills. His work with
prestigious universities such as UT Austin, Boston University, and George Washington University
through 2U, LLC, has deepened his ability to guide students toward academic and professional success.
In his prior roles, Jimmy traveled across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and North America,
gaining insights into international education systems. He uses that experience to apply unique student
success strategies to his counseling work.
