Kumail Syedain, also known as Adil, is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep who has a strong background in research and writing. Adil earned his BA in Statistics from Northwestern University. During his time at Northwestern, he took classes in everything from English Literature, Creative Writing, and Theatre to Journalism, History, Mathematics, Psychology, and Philosophy.
Kumail has guided students of different backgrounds as they navigated the college admissions process. He believes that his own life experiences provide him with a flexible and creative mind, adaptable to various situations and approaches to fit his students’ needs and goals. He is keen to make a positive and tangible impact for any student he is paired with.
Kumail’s experience includes working as a Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Northwestern University. In this role, he conducted independent research analyzing religious mentions in 20th-century fiction and taught weekly training sessions on statistical methods and theories.
Passionate about reading, writing, yoga, and football (soccer), Kumail has traveled around the world, exploring Turkey, Spain, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Nepal, Pakistan, and the United States. He loves to meet and learn from people with diverse backgrounds and appreciates the multicultural philosophies, cuisines, and cultures of this world.
