About Christopher Coleman

Howdy! I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Franklin & Marshall College and a Master of Arts in Writing, Fiction concentration, from Johns Hopkins University. While a student at Franklin & Marshall, I served as a volunteer tour guide (becoming one of two head tour guides during my senior year) and as an admissions intern.

Following graduation, I became an undergraduate admissions officer for Drexel University in Philadelphia. During that time, I initiated Drexel’s Midwestern United States recruitment effort, coordinated application evaluation for the Architectural, Civil and Mechanical Engineering programs and coordinated the evaluation and placement of at-risk applicants into educational enrichment programs.

My next professional position proved to be much more challenging. I joined the admissions team at Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business. At the time, Tuck’s MBA program had been ranked third in the nation behind Northwestern and Harvard respectively. While at the Tuck School, I also took on the role of Coordinator for Minority Recruitment.

Since my time at Dartmouth, I have held various positions on college and university campuses including the University of Maryland, Dartmouth College, and Johns Hopkins University. Lastly, I have taught essay writing to adult learners at several higher education institutions.

Just prior to joining InGenius Prep, I served as an admissions officer at Choate Rosemary Hall and The Putney School. Experience in both of these admission offices has allowed me to view the range of what small progressive and large college prep independent boarding schools have to offer.

I am passionate about education and giving my best to helping anyone who is interested in finding schools where they will thrive. I very much look forward to working with you!
