From June 29th to July 8th, USA Fencing hosted the 2025 USA Fencing Summer Nationals at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Thousands of athletes from across the country came together to compete in the largest fencing tournament in the world. Event Recap
The final day of competition on July 8th saw six new national champions crowned across youth and Division III categories. Among them were:
- Evelyn Jiang (LA Fencing Academy of Pomona) – Y-12 Women’s Saber
- Daniel Dodin (New York Fencing Academy) – Y-12 Men’s Epee
- Desmond Evans (Massialas Foundation) – Y-10 Men’s Foil
- Leo Xue (Sabio Fencing Academy & Texas Sabre Academy) – Division III Men’s Saber
- Olivia Puthoff – Y-12 Women’s Foil
- Nora Buca (Bay Area Fencing Club) – Division III Women’s Epee
These athletes showcased the determination, focus, and resilience that define the sport of fencing. Their victories capped off ten days of exciting competition, where fencers across all divisions—from Y-10 to Veterans—stepped onto the strip with intensity and sportsmanship.
Throughout the tournament, fencers represented clubs from across the U.S., competing in individual and team events across all three weapons: foil, epee, and saber. Whether pursuing a national title or gaining experience at the highest level, each athlete contributed to a dynamic and inspiring event.
