About Samuel Pugh

Samuel Pugh is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep who recently received his B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Oxford. His multidisciplinary degree provided him with a strong foundation across the humanities, social sciences, and mathematics, with a special academic interest in Ethics and the politics and history of China.

During his time at Oxford, Samuel gained direct experience with institutional governance and admissions by serving as the JCR (Student Union) President of Keble College. This role involved participation in the college’s governing body and key committees (academic, finance, and sustainability), including discussions on policy and strategic decisions about admissions.

As a Graduate Coach, Samuel combines this academic breadth with valuable insider knowledge of the Oxbridge admissions process, having given many mock interviews to help prospective students. This unique experience allows him to guide students who are unsure about their degree choice, assist in writing their personal statement, and prepare them for admissions interviews at top UK universities.
