Aashna Husain is a Graduate Coach at InGenius Prep, guiding students through the undergraduate and postgraduate admissions process from candidacy building through final submission. She brings first-hand insight into strong applications across subjects, personal statements and admissions tests, having navigated the IB Diploma, a First Class BSc in Materials Science and Engineering from Manchester, and an ongoing MSc in Design Engineering at Imperial.
Her mentoring experience extends beyond coaching: as a PASS Leader at Manchester she gave peer-led academic support and guided students toward the Mitacs Globalink Award she herself won for a research internship at the University of Alberta, developing graphene sensors for protective clothing later published at the 11th European Conference on Protective Clothing. She has also tutored Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Chemistry, and coached a student to a medical school place in Latvia via the IMAT.
Her academic work spans materials science and design engineering, including a Master’s thesis with Jaguar Land Rover and projects from EV ventilation to earthquake-rescue micromobility. Having studied and worked across Asia, North America and Europe, she brings a genuinely international perspective to coaching UK-bound students worldwide.
