Akosua Ofosu-Asiedu is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep and UK-based doctor, GP Specialty Trainee, with an academic background spanning medicine and the sciences. She holds an MBChB from the University of Aberdeen and a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from London Metropolitan University. Her clinical experience across a range of medical and surgical specialties has sharpened her analytical thinking, resilience and ability to communicate complex information clearly, skills she brings directly into her work as a Graduate Coach.
Alongside her medical career, Akosua has built a substantial track record in public speaking, mentoring and community engagement, supporting students as they explore career paths, build confidence and recognize opportunities they might not have considered on their own. She has focused much of that work on encouraging young people from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue ambitious goals in STEM and other competitive fields, and has taken on leadership roles in student and youth organizations and community health advocacy projects along the way.
As a Graduate Coach, Akosua draws on her academic, clinical and mentoring background to help students navigate their educational and career journeys. She gets to know each student individually, working with them to identify their distinct strengths, sharpen how they communicate their experiences, and approach applications and interviews with confidence, drawing on her own experience encouraging first-generation and underrepresented students to pursue ambitious goals in STEM and medicine.
