Ariel Xue is a Former Admissions Officer who served as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Dartmouth College, where she read and made decisions on thousands of student applications and travelled to secondary schools across the United States to meet guidance counselors and applicants.
Born in Beijing and raised in New York City, Ariel completed a fellowship year in the Netherlands with the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and the Hague Conference on Private International Law. She then practiced law at a top-20 Vault-ranked firm in New York City and Washington, D.C. before becoming a partner at a boutique Washington, D.C. litigation firm, guiding clients through family court proceedings and maintaining an extensive caseload of reduced fee and pro bono matters.
Ariel brings her experience in admissions, legal practice, and volunteer leadership to her work with students and families. She uses her advocacy skills alongside her insight as a Former Admissions Officer to help each student tell their own story, in an approach that is equally warm as it is pragmatic.
