Chase is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep who graduated cum laude from Harvard University with an AB in Molecular and Cellular Biology, receiving high honors in his field and also completing minors in Italian and Global Health. Having navigated a rigorous academic landscape, he recognizes the dedication and strategic planning required for success in higher education. Chase aims to use his knowledge and experiences to help students identify their strengths and stand out in competitive pools, guiding students on the path toward college admissions.
While at Harvard, he was the director of a local afterschool program for low-income youth, worked as a student ambassador and official tour guide, and conducted research in molecular metabolism and thoracic oncology. Chase completed independent research culminating in a 60-page senior honors thesis, where he investigated the role of the human mitochondrial NAD+ transporter in senescence-related type II diabetes. By leveraging his experiences both in research and public service, Chase strives to support students in cultivating their ability to share their experiences and unique perspective.
Since graduating, Chase has served as an alumni interviewer for Harvard College and works full-time in biotechnology with plans to attend medical school in the future. As a Graduate Coach, he is committed to supporting high school students as they consider their interests and identify schools that fit their goals and values. Chase encourages students to reflect, identify a diverse range of experiences and activities that represent their story, and practice the writing skills necessary to craft a compelling narrative and succeed in their academic endeavors. Through coaching, he hopes to turn what can be a daunting process into a structured, digestible plan that positions each student for success.
