Dr. Claire Anderson is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep who helps students navigate their academic and research goals for graduate school. She earned her PhD in Environmental Engineering from Stanford in 2023, supported by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and an AAUW Selected Professions Fellowship, and holds an MS in Environmental Engineering from Stanford and a BS in Environmental Engineering, with a minor in Economics, from Georgia Tech.
From 2023 to 2025, Claire was a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford, collaborating with Professors Alexandria Boehm and Jade Benjamin-Chung. Her research spans engineering, environmental science, epidemiology, and public health, resulting in four first-author publications, four co-authored papers, and presentations at five conferences. She has also instructed Stanford’s Environmental Health Microbiology course and peer reviews for journals including Environmental Science & Technology.
As a Graduate Coach, Claire is passionate about helping students from underrepresented backgrounds pursue research and graduate education. As a PhD student, she co-founded the Stanford Engineering Research Introductions Organization (SERIO), which has helped hundreds of undergraduates pursue graduate school. This shapes her individualized, research-informed coaching approach.
