Dr. Danielle Nelson is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep who brings extensive teaching and academic expertise to student mentorship. She is an Assistant Professor of Literature and Cultural Studies at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She earned her PhD in English/Literary Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her BA in Women’s Studies from Duke University.
Danielle has spent nearly a decade teaching literature and writing in higher education. In addition to her university faculty role, she has extensive experience working directly with student writers across various academic disciplines at both the high school and college level. This diverse teaching background gives her a broad range of expertise in helping students develop, refine, and elevate their written work.
