Dominic Dominguez is a Princeton University graduate with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a minor in Theater. He is passionate about helping students discover what makes them unique and enter college capable and confident.
Dominic began college advising as an Advising Fellow with Matriculate, mentoring high-achieving, low-income students through every stage of the college application process. He now serves as a college counselor and teacher at the USAP Community School in Zimbabwe, guiding students through admissions, research projects, and personal essays while teaching research methods and leading health and creative programs.
As both a scientist and an artist, Dominic brings an interdisciplinary approach to advising. He completed two senior theses at Princeton, one in ecology and evolutionary biology and one in theater, earning the Sigma Xi Book Award for Excellent Thesis Research and the Award for Innovation in Theater Making. This background helps him guide students toward compelling, authentic applications that reflect their unique interests, and he believes the process should help them understand themselves and tell their stories with confidence.
