Gianpi Colonna is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep who holds a First Class MEng in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London, where he was named to the Dean’s List and received a Teaching Assistant Award for his work supporting fellow students.
He is a Founding Machine Learning Research Engineer at Generative Engineering in London, where he builds AI tools for engineering design and trains models that predict the results of complex physics simulations. As Director of the London branch of The Young Consultant, he mentored and led more than 50 student consultants from Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, LSE, and UCL, and at Expedia he helped grow his engineering team from 2 to 13 people.
Gianpi was one of 15 students selected internationally for a research placement at the University of Tokyo and placed first out of 30 teams in a college-wide Health Hack at Imperial. As a Graduate Coach, he believes students learn best by building things, asking bold questions, and following what genuinely excites them, and he draws on his own STEM path to help students explore engineering, computer science, and AI both in the classroom and in their applications.
