My name is Kevin and I am a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
In 2019, I completed my Master of Arts degree in Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University, where I graduated Honos Civicus. I also earned my Bachelor of Arts degrees in International & Global Studies and Anthropology from Brandeis University; a certificate in Arabic Language from Middlebury College as a Kathryn Davis Fellow for Peace; and a College Counseling certificate with the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA). While pursuing my graduate degree, I assessed hundreds of applications in the Office of Admissions at Tufts and the Fletcher School. I also coordinated and executed admission conversations for prospective students in Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. After graduate school, I have counseled students from all over the world as they move on in their pursuits of higher education with acceptances to esteemed universities such as: MIT, Cornell, the University of Chicago, Brown University, Carnegie Mellon University, McGill University, the University of British Columbia (UBC), the Australian National University, Tufts University, and countless others. Finally, I have also assessed 1000 applications as an Application Reviewer for the University of California – Santa Cruz!
I enjoy working with a variety of students and tailoring my counseling strategies to each person, as the college admissions process is definitely an individual one. I am confident that every student can succeed if given the right mentor and environment to work in. While many of my students have no particular athletic talent, I have helped student-athletes achieve success in the college admissions process and receive athletic offers from schools like Boston University, Brown University, Georgia Tech, New York University, and the University of Chicago. Initially, I gained this experience firsthand as a top tennis recruit with multiple offers on the table before deciding to attend Brandeis. I have always been passionate about mentoring and coaching students, even serving as the Assistant Tennis Coach at Tufts for two seasons where I helped many players navigate the formal student-athlete recruitment process. Whether a nationally-ranked athlete or just a high school student who challenges themselves in the classroom, my experience with coaching and athletic recruitment will be put to good use.
