Khang Tran is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. He holds a Master’s of Public Health degree from the Yale School of Public Health, where he studied Epidemiology of Microbial Disease with a concentration in Climate Change and Health. Prior to his time at Yale, Khang pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, with minors in Evolutionary Medicine and Film, Television, and Digital Media. His professional background spans a range of areas, from epidemiological research and data analysis to laboratory testing, quality assurance, operations coordination, and film.
Khang joined InGenius Prep because of his passion for working with and guiding others. While pursuing his MPH at Yale, he taught several undergraduate classes, where he often provided advice to students seeking guidance for their future careers. Throughout his academic journey, he has counseled peers applying to graduate schools, achieving results at top-ranked schools. At InGenius Prep, he focuses on helping students with their personal statements and overall application, as well as reviewing resumes and cover letters for internships and fellowships.
