Hi! My name is Maite Arribas and I am an Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. I graduated in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge with a specialisation in Neuroscience. I have just finished my Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from UCL (London), and will begin my PhD in Translational Neuroscience where I hope to learn how to develop and use Machine Learning algorithms to analyse large datasets related to Psychiatry and healthcare.
Since the start of university, I have truly enjoyed the academic environment and will try my absolute best to make sure that other students can access higher education and enjoy it too! I am a keen learner, and take pleasure in teaching other people new things! For this reason, in the past, I have had a range of teaching experiences. Since high school, I have mentored younger students in the Sciences as well as Mathematics. I volunteered in Nepal for 2 months where I taught students English, as well as helped them with their university applications. Finally, in Cambridge I worked as a TA for an international summer school, where I helped to give students a taste of the Cambridge university experience. I can’t wait to work with more students in the future!
In my free time, you will find me practising Taekwondo, sailing, cooking or in an art gallery! I also recently learned how to dance Bachata, and I’ve played the piano since a young age.
