Stacy Clemons is a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep and a seasoned higher education professional with more than 20 years of experience supporting students, academic programs, and institutional initiatives across some of the nation’s most respected universities, including Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Teachers College, Columbia University, and Hofstra University.
Stacy brings direct graduate admissions experience to her work with students. As an admissions reader for the Harvard University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, she evaluated graduate applications and gained firsthand insight into the highly selective admissions process, including how admissions committees assess academic preparation, intellectual potential, fit, personal experiences, and the overall strength and cohesiveness of an applicant’s profile.
Beyond admissions, Stacy’s career has centered on helping students navigate and succeed within complex higher education environments. Her experience at Teachers College, Columbia University; MIT; and Harvard University has included student support and program support, giving her a multifaceted understanding of what it takes for students to thrive—from identifying opportunities and navigating institutional resources to developing the academic and professional skills necessary for success.
Currently at Hofstra University, Stacy continues to advise and support students while contributing to student programming and initiatives designed to promote persistence, engagement, and achievement. Her extensive experience working directly with students allows her to bring an advisor’s perspective to the admissions process while also understanding the expectations of highly selective academic institutions.
As a Former Admissions Officer, Stacy combines her insider perspective on graduate admissions, extensive student advising experience, and deep knowledge of higher education to help students present their strongest, most authentic applications. She is passionate about helping students translate their experiences and aspirations into compelling application narratives and strategically position themselves for admission to highly selective graduate programs.
