Thomas Kannam is a Graduate Coach and a graduate of Yale University, where they earned a BA cum laude with distinction in Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies. Admitted to both Harvard and Yale after years of working with an IGP Former Admissions Officer and Graduate Coach, Thomas returned to Yale after graduation, commissioned to create an original dance piece and co-teach a course with a Broadway composer.
As an undergraduate, Thomas worked in the Yale Admissions Office, training in how to evaluate international applicants as well as STEM and athletic recruits, and was later selected as one of ten senior Interviewers sending written evaluations directly to admissions officers. They also served as a Freshman Counselor, Summer Peer Advisor, and Arts Liaison for the Asian American Cultural Center.
As a Graduate Coach, Thomas draws on both their admissions-office training and their own successful application experience to help students identify and prepare for their best-fit school, whatever their interests may be.
