Vanessa Chan is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, currently completing her MSc in Political Behaviour at the London School of Economics (LSE), where she will continue on to a PhD in Political Science this fall. She previously earned a first-class undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
During her time at Oxford, Vanessa held roles with the Oxford Women in Government Society and The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities. At LSE, she is a founding member of the Political Behaviour Society, which runs a podcast interviewing leading academics on topical issues in politics. She has also tutored students across several academic subjects.
As a Graduate Coach, Vanessa has experience advising students on navigating the UK university admissions system, with a particular focus on personal statements and Oxbridge interview preparation. Her academic training and tutoring background give her the ability to convey complex ideas in an understandable manner, helping students present their strongest, most authentic selves in their applications.
