Yi Wang is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep who has earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, following a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Birmingham Centre for Energy Storage, School of Chemical Engineering, University of Birmingham.
Yi has an outstanding track record in research, having led and contributed to many research projects funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the United States and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) in the United Kingdom. His research has resulted in the publication of over 20 papers in leading international journals, and he serves as a reviewer for several TOP journals in the field of mechanical engineering.
In terms of college or graduate school application/admission, Yi successfully navigated the admission process independently, secured a place at Stanford University through his own efforts. Over the years, he has helped numerous students of different backgrounds getting into their dream schools in both the US and UK. Yi’s experience extends to the other side of the admission process as well, as he used to recruit graduate students and postdoc researchers for Birmingham Center for Energy Storage. This experience gives him invaluable insight into the qualities and achievements that the admission committee would seek from the applicants.
