Yvette Malcioln is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep and a higher education and international development executive with 15+ years of experience directing large-scale education portfolios across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. She holds a BA in Sociology from Smith College, an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University’s Teachers College, and a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Leadership and Innovation from Purdue Global University.
Yvette’s career includes senior roles with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where she directed education and workforce development portfolios worth more than $125 million across the Philippines, Ghana, and Bangladesh. Alongside this policy work, she has mentored college-bound students directly as a Smith College alumni volunteer, helping applicants uncover what makes them unique and present themselves through compelling essays. She currently works in program operations within corporate education, advising learners from the start of their degree through graduation.
Yvette’s dissertation research focused on the factors that contribute to academic success among deaf high school students, reinforcing her belief that every student has a unique story to tell. As a Graduate Coach, she brings this conviction to her coaching, helping students build the confidence and clarity to tell their own stories.
