Alena is a Graduate Coach based in Prague with a passion for fostering cultural exchange and understanding. She has a diverse background in education, including teaching in New York City schools, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and instructing 400 English language learners in a specialized pedagogy secondary school.
Alena’s international experience includes studying biases and stereotyping in London and exploring Czech nationalism in music in Prague. She also served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in a small Czech town. Alena’s extensive experience working with diverse student groups has equipped her with the skills to provide a personalized and thorough approach to advising each student.
Alena’s unique background fosters an innovative and resourceful approach to problem-solving. She understands the pressures and significance of college applications and is dedicated to guiding students toward realizing their full potential. As a Graduate Coach, she uses her formal education and hands-on experience to enable her to identify and highlight the unique strengths of each young scholar she advises.
