Alexander Wesley is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in California. He received his B.A. in Political Science with high distinction from the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently a law student at Stanford University. Alexander brings experience across multiple disciplines, including conducting bioinformatics research at Emory University, where he studied new treatments for childhood cancer, and founding a non-profit that supports research on renal cancers.
He has also worked for various non-profit organizations, where he helped government agencies develop new strategies to make housing more affordable for low-income families. Additionally, Alexander worked internationally as a global teen leader with the We Are Family Foundation and served on the National Civic Action Project Youth Board. For the past three years, Alexander has supported dozens of students through the college admission process. From brainstorming compelling topics for personal statements to helping students navigate the complexity of the admissions process, Alexander uses his years of experience in admissions to help students succeed.
Alexander’s deep understanding of the admissions process has led him to a key insight: gaining admission to top universities begins by seeing the college application as more than just grades and test scores; it’s about telling a compelling story. At InGenius Prep, Alexander uses this philosophy to guide students in a way that effectively showcases their achievements and leverages their unique experiences and personalities to gain admission to their dream schools.
