Carina Dagotto is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. She has a strong background in scientific research. She received her BS in Biology from Duke University and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Cancer Biology.
Carina has extensive research experience in various labs across the country, with topics ranging from plant biology to single-crystal creation. Her most significant project focused on the relationship between dormant cancer cells and the adaptive immune system, conducted over four years at the University. This work resulted in two publications and inspired her to pursue a doctoral degree in Cancer Biology.
Throughout her academic career, Carina has assisted numerous students from her former schools with their college and graduate school applications. She has provided valuable support through peer-reviewing essays and developing personalized plans of action to help students achieve their academic goals.
As a Graduate Coach, Carina possesses a keen understanding of the graduate school admissions process. She believes her strengths, including quick thinking, a flexible mindset, and a positive outlook, enable her to collaborate effectively with students and provide open and honest guidance.
