Carol Riddock is a Former Admissions Officer with a strong interest in public interest law and social justice advocacy. She graduated from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Political Science. She later earned her JD from UCI Law in Chicago, IL where she developed a strong interest in public interest law and social justice advocacy.
Carol’s career has has taken her across multiple areas of the legal and higher education landscape. She began her legal work with Legal Aid of North Carolina contributing to fair housing investigations. Later, she returned to Georgia where she served as a Public Defender and practiced privately in immigration and criminal law. These roles gave her firsthand experience with the challenges and nuances of the legal system, especially for underrepresented communities.
Carol’s work eventually expanded into higher education and law school admissions. She has advised prospective students throughout the law school application process and worked closely with admissions decision-makers. Her leadership extended to organizing programming that supported both incoming and current students helping them navigate legal education and professional pathways.
Throughout her career, Carol has worked with students from diverse backgrounds and experiences. As a Former Admissions Officer, she is passionate about education access and helping students present the strongest version of themselves in the admissions process.
