Hello! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. I am currently a Master of Finance student at MIT Sloan. Before that, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance with first-class honors from the University of Hong Kong. In addition to MIT, I had successful applications to graduate programs at Yale and Cambridge. I worked as a teaching assistant and research assistant at school and took several finance internships out of school. My internship experience includes investment banking, equity research, and insurance. I have also worked as a professional coach for 4 years, helping 200+ students make significant academic progress and 100+ students with their application to all kinds of graduate and undergraduate programs.
In my coaching experience, I am fortunate enough to meet a diverse pool of students. Some are in high school, and some are in college. Some are ambitious, and some are conservative. Understanding that every student is unique, I would plan strategically according to their characteristics and areas of improvement. When dealing with applications, I am known for my attention to detail and insightful sharing. For example, students always find it beneficial when I share how I skillfully structured my extra-curricular activities and obtained reference letters for my own applications. I know what graduate admission teams look for and would teach students how to best showcase their strengths. It is a true pleasure to see students get admitted to their dream programs, which is why I have become increasingly passionate about coaching.
In my leisure time, I am an enthusiastic hiker and mountain climber. I have climbed almost all the mountains in Hong Kong and would like to visit more in other places.
