Clement Gelly is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep. He has a diverse background as an educator and artist. He holds a BA in Religion from Columbia University and is completing his MFA in Creative Nonfiction at UNLV, where he has taught undergraduate writing courses for three years.
His eight years of professional teaching experience span university, high school, and middle school levels, encompassing both one-on-one and classroom settings. At UNLV, he was an Instructor of Record for six English Department courses, including ENG 101, 102, and 205, teaching both in-person and asynchronously. He also served as Graduate Assistant Director in UNLV’s Composition Department, where he contributed to curriculum development, mentored graduate teaching assistants, and facilitated professional development.
Clement’s commitment to education extends to one-on-one mentorship, with experience as an Academic Mentor at ESMPrep Tutoring in London, providing tuition and essay coaching to over 25 high school students.
His writing and photography is published in The Point, Hazlitt, Virginia Quarterly Review, Desert Companion, and more. Notable publications include an essay in The Point about Marinaleda, Spain, and photo/essay pieces in Hazlitt and VOR. His artwork has been exhibited in Las Vegas, New York, and Hull, UK, including an interactive visual and performance art exhibition, “Skate Away”.
As a Graduate Coach, Clement combines his extensive experience in education and the arts to guide students through the admissions process, helping them highlight their unique strengths and craft compelling narratives.
