Hello! Here is Diyuan Hu, a Bilingual Counselor at InGenius Prep. I headed to the U.S. for college after my high school graduation. During my time at Stony Brook University, I earned M.S. in Technological Systems Management. I also worked as a Dean assistant in the Admissions Office at Stony Brook. It was a precious and memorable experience where I contributed my own effort and gained comprehensive insight into the whole admissions process.
After 8 years of study and work experience, I joined InGenius Prep and moved back to my home country. It’s been a pleasure to me to share my insight on the college application, campus life, as well as other socio-cultural perspectives with successors. In the past 3 years, I’ve been supporting my students to get to their dream schools. Meanwhile, the journey has been a worthwhile one to me – to refine my education perspective and improve guidance to my students.
I believe it is critical to be sober when performing analysis, be clear when drawing out plans, and be comprehensive when making decisions. Other than that, ensuring clarity, mutual understanding, and trust would be essential for collaboration and troubleshooting.
In my spare time, sometimes I enjoy traveling and exploring the world, sending postcards (!) to my friends. Alternatively, I also enjoy spending my leisure quietly with books, video games, or documentaries.
