Hello! I am a Physics PhD student at Brown University working as a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in Providence, Rhode Island. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut where I majored in physics with a minor in mathematics. In the past I have worked on research related to upgrading telescopes, evolution of supermassive black holes, with the fabrication of thermal conductivity test stands, on SQUID microscopy to characterize the behavior of superconducting materials near their Quantum Critical Points, with the design and fabrication of magnetic sensors to be used towards building Fusion Reactors, and most recently on the creation of a Faraday Force Magnetometer used for magnetization measurements of quantum materials. I am also currently helping with research related to quantum mechanics of the human brain and as a teaching assistant towards classes in astrophysics and quantum mechanics.
Through my work as a tutor and as a teaching assistant, I have learned that I really enjoy working with students towards helping them reach, and push past, the goals they have set out to accomplish. I am most interested in helping students to create an extraordinary application, and with helping to set them apart from the rest of the applicant pool through methods such as finding interesting research projects, internships, and helping to showcase this work through website creation and other innovative methods.
Outside of work, I really enjoy spending my time in outdoor activities such as running ultramarathons, rock climbing, snowboarding, surfing, hiking, and much more! However, I also have a very introspective side in which I really enjoy spending time with meditation, yoga, and reading and learning about new subjects.
