Hello, my name is Jeffrey. I am a Graduate Coach at InGenius Prep from Qingdao, Shandong.
I graduated from Occidental College, one of the oldest liberal arts colleges on the West Coast, with a major in International Relations and a minor in German. During my undergraduate years, I spent a year as an exchange student at the University of Freiburg in Germany, where I studied the political systems of the European Union. I spent my sophomore and junior summers in Sri Lanka on an international volunteer project, mainly teaching math and English to local elementary school students, as well as participating in weekend activities to rescue hawksbill sea turtles.
My masters degree is from Columbia University, in International Comparative Education. As a result of my educational background, I am very familiar with the U.S. college application system and the historical, political, social, and cultural environment of the United States. I enjoy interacting with students from a variety backgrounds and personalities, and look forward to guiding and working with them to explore different academic interests and hobbies.
In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and American football, and spending time with my cat, Phillips.
