Jipeng Sun is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep based in New Jersey. Jipeng is PhD candidate in Computer Science at Princeton University. At Princeton, his research area lies in computational imaging, metasurface, microscopy, and VR/AR systems. Prior to enrolling at Princeton, he served as a course instructor at Northwestern University, where he also earned his first PhD in Computer Science.
Jipeng is fascinated about building machines that enhance humans’ vision, learning, and decision making systems and empower machines with biological inspired intelligence. In his professional career, he has served as a research engineer for the Institute of Automation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and as CEO for Sharing Tech Ltd. His experiences in a variety of roles have equipped Jipeng with a great understanding of breaking into the tech industry and tech in higher education.
As an educator, Jipeng is passionate about mentoring students and guiding them towards their educational goals. After decades at top-ranked institutions, both as a student and instructor, he has worked one-on-one with a variety of students from different backgrounds. He specializes in mentoring students interested in STEM fields and excels at helping students find their “best fit” programs.
