Julianne Reynolds is a Former Admissions Officer with InGenius Prep, based in New York City. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Oklahoma City University. She then went on to work for two Fortune 100 companies, first as an Apple in-store customer educator and then as a mobile application quality assurance tester for Paycom Payroll. She also spent two years working as a software quality assurance tester for MidFirst Bank, the largest privately-owned bank in the United States.
After the pandemic, she began her career as a professional performer in Oklahoma City. Julianne starred in principal roles of two Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma productions, and co-headlined as a soloist with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra. She spent nine months touring public schools around the state of Oklahoma in Lyric Theatre OK’s young audience adaptation of the musical Oklahoma!, helping provide thousands of K-12 students with free access to the performing arts. She worked as a voice teacher with Kismet Arts OKC, where her passion for education and teaching became apparent for the first time.
Upon relocating to New York City, Julianne has worked in multiple positions at Columbia University. She worked as an executive assistant and coordinator at the Office of Alumni and Development and Columbia Alumni Association (CAA), where she helped plan events and communications for the CAA Board, CAA Scholarship program, and the annual Columbia Alumni Leaders Experience conference. She worked in Columbia’s Office of the Provost, where she assisted the Senior Associate Provost of Administration and Planning. Julianne has also worked as an application reader for Columbia’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, where she reviewed graduate applications and gained insight into the admissions standards for several of their MS level programs.
