Hi there! My name is Kathy, and I’m a bilingual counselor at inGenius Prep. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in sociology. I started to participate in teaching research projects in local schools when I was a sophomore. I helped students to develop their cognitive intelligence through observing their needs and designing appropriate educational curriculum. In addition, I served as a career peer mentor to assist U.S. college students in their job search through one-on-one counseling to provide academic and career plans. Working as a residential advisor during my school years, I have also gained a deep understanding of the American college culture that I would love to share with my international students. These all have been a fruitful journey for me to explore myself and the education industry.
During my experience with IGP families, I enjoy talking to students and helping them identify their interests and career path. I believe that education comes not only from books but also from every detail of life. I hope to use my expertise and passion to help and witness each student grow. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, working on puzzles, and exploring food and arts with friends.
