Hello! I am a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep, based in Los Angeles, California. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and graduated from the University of Washington, with degrees in English and Psychology. I love both science and the humanities, and my two majors allowed me to gain valuable experience in these areas, first by way of an internship at a literary agency, and second as a lab assistant in one of UW’s biopsychology labs. Eventually, I decided to pursue humanistic study in graduate school. I earned my Ph.D. in English literature from the University of California – Los Angeles.
Professionally, I love working with aspiring college students to help them imagine and pursue experiences both in and outside the classroom that are at once personally enriching and good preparation for success in college. My coaching style combines big vision with attention to detail, so that students feel completely supported in achieving their dreams for themselves.
Outside of work I love reading, writing, experiencing culture, and spending time outdoors. I have a wanderer’s spirit and am always seeking out my next adventure!
