Michael Chidueme is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep and a resident physician specializing in psychiatry at NYU Langone in New York City. Michael’s academic experience includes a BS in Neurobiology & Physiology from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Northwestern University. Now, Michael brings his insight into the graduate application process to his role as a counselor for other prospective college applicants.
Michael has had a long-standing passion for mentorship throughout his professional and academic career. Over the years, he has tutored and guided students through their academic challenges and supported them with career strategies. Michael worked with medical professionals and patients as a research assistant at Northwestern and Anne Arundel. His experience has contributed to his understanding of the graduate process and the medical field, and he now dedicates himself to using that insight to help students.
As a Graduate Coach, Michael’s approach to counseling is centered around the goals of his students. He works with his students to understand their unique aspirations and help them overcome the obstacles they face. Michael takes great pride in developing individualized strategies for his mentees.
