Hello! I am currently based out of the Northern VA/DC area working remotely as a Senior Data Scientist for a major health retail company.
I was born and raised in the Northern VA area and received my undergraduate degree from the University of VA, where I studied Accounting, Information Technology, and Business Analytics at the McIntire School of Commerce. While at UVA, I TA’d for various business and computer science-related courses and also volunteered as a Computer Literacy tutor for elderly individuals. Upon graduation, I moved to New York City to pursue my Masters in Data Science degree at Columbia University and round out my business background with a more technical edge. Living in NYC for 3 years not only propelled my education, but also my personal self growth by allowing me to experience city life and all the exciting and novel experiences it had to offer.
After graduating from Columbia University, I worked at a large consulting firm with various financial services clients on projects leveraging machine learning, natural language processing, and process mining techniques. I eventually moved back to the Northern VA area, where I have currently resided for the last 2 years.
Outside of school and work, I enjoy rock climbing, weightlifting, trying out new coffee shops, traveling, and going to music festivals. I am very excited to get to know you and your own unique story so that together we can help you to achieve your goals.
