Nicole “Yuyan” Zhang is a Graduate Coach at InGenius Prep, based in Durham, North Carolina. Nicole holds both a JD and an LLM in International and Comparative Law from Duke University where she also served as the editor of the Duke Law Journal and a research assistant in international law. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Peking University Law School and spent a semester as an exchange student at Columbia Law School. Nicole now uses her knowledge of admissions and the graduate process at the top schools to guide prospective students through their college applications.
With experience interning at three U.S. law firms in Beijing and exposure to various legal systems, Nicole offers students a comprehensive and insightful approach to law and college applications. She has helped students craft compelling narratives and enhance their candidacy for college. She works with students to find their unique strengths and use them to navigate the admissions landscape with practical feedback and personalized support. Her guidance has helped multiple students gain admission into programs at the top schools, including Columbia, NYU, and Duke University.
As a Graduate Coach, Nicole takes a supportive and detail-oriented approach to counseling. She aims to help students excel academically, especially in graduate and law programs. Nicole is passionate about helping others achieve their academic and professional goals. With her guidance, students will gain insider knowledge of the admissions process and find the most optimal pathway to their dream school.
