Sean Kim is a Graduate Coach with InGenius Prep and a cultural strategist and wine professional based in Paris, with a multifaceted background in philosophy, gastronomy, and the fine arts. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in French from Dartmouth College, where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He has recently completed the Diploma in Wine and Management at Le Cordon Bleu Paris.
Sean’s academic and professional experiences reflect a deep commitment to cultural fluency and creative expression. At Dartmouth, he was awarded the Colette L. Gaudin Prize for excellence in French studies, as well as the Marcus Heiman–Martin R. Rosenthal Achievement Award for his work in jewelry design. His academic work included research in conceptual ethics and legal philosophy under Professor David Plunkett, where he collaborated on projects exploring normativity and interpretation in law.
In the wine world, Sean is currently working with La Revue du Vin de France, France’s oldest wine publication. As an assistant for the 2026 edition of the Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France, he is responsible for direct communication with over 1300 wine domains, managing sample coordination, and ensuring accurate data entry for thousands of cuvées. This hands-on experience has deepened his operational understanding of the French wine industry and allowed him to bridge editorial precision with logistical execution.
Sean’s trajectory has also included work in fine craftsmanship. He holds engraving and goldsmithing certifications from both the New Approach School for Jewelers in Tennessee and the Accademia delle Arti Orafe in Rome, and has supported student projects in Dartmouth’s jewelry studio. Earlier experiences in biotech, customer engagement, and leadership as Captain of the Honor Council at Culver Military Academy further reflect his versatility and reliability across a diverse array of disciplines.
With professional proficiency in French, conversational Korean, and a background in academic research, luxury goods, and wine, Sean brings a globally aware, detail-oriented, and interdisciplinary approach to all that he does. As a Graduate Coach, he helps his students thoughtful communication, creative execution, and cross-cultural collaboration.
